We have just released an app for the Blackberry device, to allow you create short cut urls, directly from your devices browser.
This app is still a beta at present, but has been tested on numerous devices running BlackBerry OS 4.7 and above, like the curve, bold, storm etc.
At present the app is only available from this site, and no registration is required to download or use it.
installing the app
Is dead simple, download the application.
Some devices will now ask if you want to grant the app trusted status, you should select YES otherwise, it will not work correctly.
Finally some devices will start the app automatically, some will require a phone restart to complete.
where do I get it from ?
Simply visit Blackberry® World on your deivce.
You can also, just scan the barcode below with your device
is it easy to use ?
Very simple, whilst using your device browser, simply click the blackberry button to bring up the page menu.
Then simply select the 'Shrink this URL' option, and thats it
The app will display an acknowledgement messgae telling you that the link is on your clipboard.
All you need to do now, is paste the new link into an email, sms, memo etc.
